The first duties of a new Court always goes with a bang! when they attend the Annual Civic Bonfire in Nuneaton. They are invited to add a lilttle sparkle to the evenings events. Together with the Mayor and the leader of the Nuneaton Lions they push the button to start the bonfire.
Rememberance Sunday, laying a wreath at the Cenotaph.
18th Nov 2017 – Attendance at the Mary Ann Evans Christmas fair, meeting Father Christmas, Marcus Jones MP and a very large bear.
26th Nov 2017 The annual Nuneaton Christmas Lights switch on. This is a full day helping out with the Carnival Committee fundraising stall. They met “Hoop Guy” had an interview with Merv on Anker radio then off to meet the Civic Mayor prior to the lights switch on.
2nd Dec 2017 Mayor’s Charity, Bag pack at Asda – Nuneaton.
The Carnival Court along with other members of the Mayor’s team of volunteers helped at the “Bag Pack” at the ASDA store in aid of the “Mayor’s Appeal 2017-2018”
8th Dec 2017 The Carnival Court was kindly invited to the Abbey Theatre by the Rabble Youth Theatre group to see the production of “Honk”
13th Dec 2017 Carnival Court was kindly invited to the Abbey Theatre on this occassion by the Abbey Players, to see the pantomime Dick Whittington.
17th Dec 2017 The Nuneaton Carnival Childrens Christmas party.
This successful christmas party, which had to be put back one week due to the heavy snow fall on Sunday 10th (you will remember if you were trying to go somewhere). Held at ASDA store Nuneaton, with special guest Father Christmas.
24th February 2018 – Invite to the Mayors Parlour.

10th June 2018 – The big event of the year is the annual carnival. This is such an exciting day for the Court, and they hope you will all come along to support them.
